Has only raced once but that was a victory in a novices’ event over this course and distance in May, the form of which has worked out quite well.
2
Big Mojo
Progressed from an encouraging first start to upset some much better fancied rivals in a 1000m Goodwood G3 as a maiden. This 1200m should suit.
3
Billboard Star
Hasn’t done anything wrong so far, and his second in a 1200m G2 at Newmarket in July has been enhanced by the subsequent G1 success of the winner.
4
Caburn
Has won both starts and though only gaining narrow victories each time he has given the impression that he is sharply on the upgrade, outspeeding a big field for a valuable Newbury prize last time.
5
Camille Pissarro
Disappointing when favourite at Royal Ascot but his other three runs all indicate that he is a serious player here. A close second in a G3 at the Curragh last month, the winner landing a G1 since.
6
Cool Hoof Luke
A winner on his debut and has delivered two good efforts in stronger races since, latterly when third in a 1400m Goodwood G2 but not helping his cause by racing much too keenly.
7
King’s Call
Led from gate to wire when landing a 1200m Ayr novices’ event on his debut. Outpaced when down to 1000m for a Goodwood G3. This looks tricky but a return to 1200m may help.
8
Shadow Of Light
Up in grade but his two wins in maiden and novice company were both eye-catching. Latterly he immediately responded to his jockey’s demands for a comfortable Newmarket 1200m win.
9
Symbol Of Strength
Improved from his first to his second start when too strong for two better fancied rivals in a 1100m maiden at Ayr last month. This is a much stiffer challenge.
10
The Strikin Viking
Blessed with lots of speed and only beaten 1/2l in G2s at the Curragh and Goodwood on his last two starts. Facts and figures from those two performances make him a serious contender here.
